yes you can. it plugs into the USB of your computer. yep burn dvds too

Yes. it's an external DVD-Rom burner. Just plug in the power adapter and the USB 2.0 into the rear of the computer and install the Nero software witch comes with it and reboot the computer and your ready to rip Cd's and dvds. but not blue-rays.
