Can you plug your ipod touch into the computer just to charge it without syncing it

it just takes way too long to back up. I have an ipod touch with 2.0.1 software

    I use a powered USB hub to charge things without the computer.


  2. yup just make sure YOU EJECT the ipod after it is done charging or else it will get messed up . trust me u dont want tat to happen bcuz i have done it b4

  4. You can make it so that itunes doesn't open automatically each time you plug it in. Its in the settings on the summary page when you plug in your ipod. You just have to open itunes yourself when you want to sync it.
