Can you point me in the right direction for a rock or crystal?

I have been looking for a rock or crystal that emits warmth. I am told there are these. Can your tell me what to look for.

  1. Ira P is right in principle, although any mineral that emitted enough heat for you to notice would be very dangerously radioactive.

    Maybe you are thinking of heat from rocks, geothermal energy.  Here the idea is that rocks at depth (and in areas of active volcanic activity, the depth need not be very great) are hot, and we can use this heat as a source of energy by pumping down water and generating steam under pressure.  They actually do this in Iceland.


  2. Crystals containing radioactive elements that naturally decay emit warmth.

    Look up radioactive minerals or crystals.

  3. Any rock, crystal or gem that has your best eye appeal is the warmest, Check EBay under  Gemstones, and see what you like the most.
