YES, you can. I had an uncle that had a cat like this when i was younger. I'm not exactly shure how he did it but here is a website with a video and instructions...it is a product they are trying to sell but you can apply the same concept if you don't want to buy the product.

cats naturally know where to use the bathroom. they don't like to go in the same places they eat or sleep. if they live outside, they will go in the woods. if they live inside, make sure you have a litter box. make sure he/she knows where it is, and they should use it out of habit (even if they never have before, it should come naturally to domestic cats) and they will always try to bury it, no matter where they go. in my opinion, your own bathroom would be the most convenient place to put the litter box, and make sure you clean it out and put fresh litter in regularly. i suggest some type of odor-controlling litter, because cat pee has such a sharp, strong smell, even though the box itself should reduce this some by itself. if your cat doesn't go to the litter box on its own, try putting some of its p**p or something in it so that he/she knows that its a bathroom, and punish it with a spray bottle (once) whenever it goes somewhere else. but before you punish them, make sure they know where it is! hope this helps. :)

You can, I have a kitten and actually it was very lucky, because he just knew he was supposed to go to the litter tray to do a poo\wee but if yours doesn't do this then just buy a spray bottle (and a litter tray) When she\he wees\poos outside of the litter tray spray her once,(if you spray her more times she\he may think you are doing it for fun) spray her\him once,keep doing this when she\he goes to the toilet out of his\her litter tray and eventually she should stop.

P.S use litter\soil to put in the litter tray and then some news paper underneath.
