What is reasonable force is it the same for men and women?

  1. When dealing with anyone you must base your strengths with theirs and not use excessive force.  You can restrain a women without being charged as long as your trying to restrain her by her arms not her throat.  One of the best things to do is avoid violent women but if that is not an option I suggest walking away... or even running.  So you know if you hit a women and she then hits you back she would also be charged with assault so yes laws are gender neutral. I have seen women arrested for abusing men or even defending themselves with extreme force.

  2. if you have witnesses bear hug her until she stops. If there are no witnesses call the police and get out of the situation. IMO, if a woman is tough enough to throw a punch (without reason) then she is tough enough to take one.

  3. Please define "hitting" are you referring to specifically people sharing views on this Yahoo Q/A?  Or, are you referring to actual "hitting"?

    Edit:

    Marriage no

    Parenting to child - yes

    Child to parent - no

Zero discipline produces confusion in a child to the point of possibly ruining their life and the people they come into contact.  Do not challange me on this, well ya can but it's waste our time.

Horsing around is horsing around and if called violence by a person that would be false.

  4. Leave.

  5. do not do things that will make a woman hit you.

  6. If you want to be sure to avoid arrest, the best thing to do is let her hit you, call the cops and press charges. Unfortunately, as one person suggested, restraining her can be turn into an assault charge. I don't know what I would do in that situation.

  7. no you can only walk away, restraining her will result in the same charge as hitting her if she plays it right.

  8. A real man can escape this situation without hitting back.

  9. walk or run away

hold there arms till you can find a out

you can call the police on them just as well as they do

  10. Don't be where a pissed woman is, in the first place!

I don't know about "reasonable force." You might be able to restrain/disable someone with one finger-well-placed and well-timed. That doesn't mean it was "necessary."

If things are heating up in your vicinity- you can say," I am leaving before things escalate anymore" and take off as far and fast as safely possible.

Do "we" apply laws in a gender-neutral away?  What do you think? I think not. Most women are not as prone to violence as men. It takes less to stop them, and more to push them to violence. Of course, there are individual exceptions, just as there are in men.

Prisons are not over-flowing with wild women, huh?

I got all the way to age 22 before I had any incident.

  11. Yes, if you know you are with that type of woman, Leave her, forever.

  12. If a women hit me I will surely hit her back. After this she probably will never hit me again if she knows what is good for her.
