Can you print a label on USPS.com for APO addresses?

I know you can send the package to Iraq for the same price as shipping domestically if it is sent to an APO address but when I try to purchase a label online it just gives me the regular international rate of $49 something or other. Is it possible to print the label online or will I have to go to a post office?

  1. Make sure that you are choosing Domestic Mail. USPS only handles the APO/FPO mail to the port. That is why the cost is the same as for any other domestic destination.

If you want to pay domestic rates, you have to start by entering the information for domestic shipping. I think you may be choosing International because it will eventually go to Iraq, but that would be the mistake.

Make sure that you understand if there are any restrictions or prohibitions against what you intend to send. Your local PO will help with that, as well as being able to determine what, if any Customs documents may be necessary.

  2. it sounds like your best bet will be to go to the post office and get iot through them.
