I am currently reading Sylvia Browne "A Psychic's Guide to Our World And Beyond... The Other Side and Back".  She actually has an excercise that teaches you how to uncover your past lives.  Try reading her book - you may need a friend to help one that you trust.  To successfully recover past lives you may need to be hypnotized.  I'm sure there other books on reincarnation.  Best of Luck.
