  1. As Bob said the evidence is far too extensive to post on Yahoo and it definitely can't be summarized in a graph.  Here's links to a few very good explanations (with various graphs, etc.), but they will require some effort to wade through (some actual science and advanced mathematics wouldn't hurt either):

  2. Here is a summary of the evidence:

You can't prove a theory, only disprove it.  AGW is the best theory fitting the data, by far.

  3. No.. Nobody can show you proof that man causes global warming, because man causes literally 2% of it, AT MOST!

Le Sun Spots are whats causing it.

  4. Does it matter if it is or it isn't?  The fact that so much pollution is going into the air is toxic to people.  There are lots of chemicals going into the air from many different manufacturing processes all over the world, this will have health impacts for all of us.  What happened to all the acid rain talk?  In the '80's that was all people talked about, acid rain?  Why is that forgotten?  We are now starting to run out of clean drinking water.  I am just glad that "everyday people" are finally starting to worry about the planet we all live on.

  5. Typical Duh Dana fashion tries to throw out the obvious, then re-directs to, 'Well, if I am right about this, then global warming must be right.'

    There is no proof!

Hockey stick graph does not exist!

Polar bears are not going extinct!

The oceans will not and cannot rise 23 feet in 100 years!

No storms have been eratically different due to alleged global warming!

The Earth will not end in 2012!

Go back to playing with your toys and leave the science to those who know what they are doing.  ie NOT GORE!!!

  6. Dana,

Ha. Your link tries to disprove other forcings. It has no actual evidence that directly links CO2 to any warming.

  7. Proof? No, I can't provide proof. Science isn't about proof, that's a property exclusive to mathematics. Science is about evidence. So what you need to be asking is, "Is there *evidence* of anthropogenic global warming?"

And to that the answer is most decidedly yes. Can the evidence be summed up in a single graph? Not a chance. If you want to see the evidence supporting anthropogenic global warming theory, I suggest reading the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment report, the most comprehensive look at the state of climate change science ever put together. You can read the whole thing online for free here:

Edit: Well, yes, a graph can be used as evidence of anthropogenic global warming. What I said was that a graph cannot be used to summarize every single piece of data ever collected in support of the theory. I thought the meaning of that sentence was clear (if not, I apologize).

  8. I think the following website can provide you the detailed description about global warning is caused by man and the citizens of this polluted world. They are well known scientists.http://www.spaceandmotion.com/environmen...

  9. The proof is way too long for a Yahoo answer, it's in the links.  The first one has a good graph.

This is science and what counts is the data, not people's intuition.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)

    Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut

Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

    summarized at:

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:

    http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/a...

And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

    http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/fu...

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

  10. No Proof

  11. My physical Geography prof in U of T(toronto):

"The data is too complicated to say whether its caused by human or its natural."

the point is we can reverse it.I remember he said it also, if im not wron.
