I wanted to make a guitar pick necklace, but i was wondering if you could punch, or poke, a hole at the top of the pick without it splitting in half? If so, how? Please don't answer if you don't have a good answer!

  1. use a paper puncher

  2. Today is your lucky day.I have the perfect solution for you.

All you need is a needle, pliers ,cigarette lighter and a platic

guitar pick. Now heat the needle up while holding it with the

pliers and push it through the pick.

Good luck, this works pretty good.Just tried it myself.

  3. I have used a hole puncher on a guitar pick.   A drill is a good idea, too.

  4. I use a hot nail to put holes in plastic.  Put a nail in a pair of plyers and hold it in to a flame.  Then use the nail to melt a hole in the pick.  You can also use a drill with a small bit.

  5. Heat a thin nail or thick needle and poke it through the pick. Heat the needle or nail by turning a burner on the stove on high and then laying the end of the needle or nail on the element of the burner.  Use pliers or a hotpad or something to protect your fingers, of course.  If you're a kid, have a parent help you with it until you can do it safely.

  6. dude depending on how big the chain is and how clean you want the whole... you can jam the end of a pen through a pick...

    i've done it before :-p

  7. Very thin drill bit , like a jewelers drill bit.
