Can you purchase alcohol at Mumbai Airport Duty Free?

I am flying into Mumbai next week, and I know that in some countries you can actually purchase alcohol from the duty free when you land prior to exiting the airport. Does anyone know if this is the case in India?

i purchase Chivas Rigel whiskey and Bombay and something name like a gin i can buy in mumbai airport duty free..

You can surely purchase alcohol at the Mumbai Airport, but my sincere advise is to avoid doing so if possible coz of fake products.

well it is certainly available at the Goa airport...so i would think the same applys to Mumbai...& it's SO cheap!!
