I moved from MO to AR and am wondering how long I can keep my insurance in MO

  2. Well, to get the tags, you have to have insurance for that state.

    Technically, you've got 30 days to switch over the tags and insurance.  Practically, it's until either your policy expires, or your tags expire.

  3. You can but if you get pulled over or if you get into an accident you'll get a huge ticket and you'll not be covered.

  4. Yes, you can. I am a resident of one state that I go to college in, and that's where my insurance is located. But, I use my old address (of another state) for all of my stuff!

  5. If you are establishing permanent residence in AR you will need to change your insurance within a reasonable time. There is no set time but you should do it within a month. You'll also have to change your registration.

    As mentioned above, if you are a student you can keep your old state insurance since you are not making a permanent move unless you change registration.
