Can you purchase decomissioned Navy,Army or Coast Guard boats?

I want to purchase a dependable boat that I could refit for living houseboat purpose. was thinking that a shore patrol boat would be basicly unsinkable and possibly a good alternitive to purchasing a new boat.

possibly, but I'm sure it would be pretty pricey. I see artillery and tanks in front of veteran clubs so talk to your local navy recruiter for more info.

I'm pretty sure you can. Just google military boats for sale. I have seen a russian sub for sale.

I'm not sure whether or not you'd be able to buy one, but with related vehicles plike police cars] you're not going to get the exact same boats. They take the engine out and replace it with a normal one for safety purposes.
