Can you push the middle out of a £2 coin?

It is annoying because when i was younger my brother said you could and always tried but couldn't lol. Was he just lying -.- OR was he telling the truth ^^.

An interesting question, I am a coin dealer, and I had not considered the idea. But in the interest of research I tried with a couple of bi-metal coins and it was easy

Just make sure the outer rim is supported over a hole, and using a piece of dowel so as to not scratch the inner disc give it a good sharp hit with a hammer.

Admittedly I did not have a 2 pound coin but I did the 2 euro,Australian $5 and a thai coin ,... So the 2 pound coin would have the same technology.
