Can you put Linux on a Toshiba Pocket PC e335 and is there any way to get it on the Internet?

I'm pretty sure I could put Linux on it, but I don't know what distro. The Internet thing is a little trickier. Perhaps I need to buy an add-on? My phone doesn't do wi-fi so that might be a good purchase for me depending on price.
