  1. parrots are an aggresive fish and should only be kept with other cichlids

  2. If you want them to be a meal...blood parrots often eat smaller fish.

try other cichilds or larger gourami's, tiger barbs, loachs, catfish, plecos or sharks.

  3. Well d**n i hate to said this but this is just from a personal experience, if you want your Blood Parrot to be good don't Put a Neon Tetra in there, they do not get along.

Here is a list of Fish types you can put with Blood Parrots.

    Silver Dollars

    Black Skirt Tetras (Black Widow)

    Giant Danios

    Congo Tetras

    Cory Cats

    Any variety of Pleco

    Twig Catfish

    Kribensis

    Convicts

    Sevrums

    Large Angels

  4. Blood parrots grow quite large - Neon tetras dont. Not a good Combo.

Eventually the Neons are likely to get eaten. It's not that Blood Parrots are really agressive, it's just that big fish eat small fish.

Pick some larger but peacefull or semi-agressive tankmates. Arturo's list has some good options.
