Can you put a name on a rubber raft? What kind of letters?

I just bought an inflatable kayak and want to do the same. I contacted our local river rafting company and they suggested that I contact the manufacture;. Apparently some glues can actually break down the boating material.

You can in fact put letters on a rubber raft.

I personally like the letters:

I actually have two Green Bay stickers on my 16 foot cataraft.  They were given to me by my Dad (a die-hard Packer fan), and they are basically vinyl decals.  My boat is PVC, but I think it would work just as well on Hypalon, Neoprene, or whatever.  I don't know where they came from, but they are just plain old vinyl decals, and I'm sure you could find them at almost any print shop.  Good luck!

very flexible plastic letters, but you must clean the surface thoroughly with mineral spirits, and then apply with the same adhesive used for patching leaks.
