Can you put a nvidia XFX 7600GT/GS into a Asus P5Q?

Hello im wondering if you can put a nvidia 7600GT/GS into a Asus P5Q, and not burn out the cards and/or the board,and have sli?

Because it's an nVidia card you will be able to run a single card but not a SLI setup. You could run 2 ATI cards in Crossfire mode, though. Crossfire is supported by the P45 chipset on your mobo. SLI isn't.
