  1. i would think so because you can put plecs in outside ponds in the summer.they are very hardy fish.

  2. Hi,

    Yeh you can.

All you need to do is get a plastic bag like what pet shops give you for transporting fish, put the water in it from the tropical fish tank then place the fish in. Float the bag and fish in the coldwater tank for 20-30mins so that the water cools and the fish aclimatises. Then just let it go and thats it.

  3. i suppose that this is possible but it is actually something that i would not do myself. you can actually purchase coltwater bottom dwellers, take a look around at your local aquatic centres.  in my oppinion it's best to keep fish in their natural habitats - coldwater fish in cold water and tropical fish in heated water. i hope i have helped with your question.

  4. Yes.  Plecos are quite hardy and can handle the upper range of goldfish temperatures.  Keep the temperature in the mid 70s or so and both fish should be fine.  A friend of mine keeps an albino bristle nose pleco with a fantail goldfish and they do fine together.

  5. no

  6. plecos are still comfortable down to water temps of around 75, but plecos are one of the hardiest fish i ever knew so it would probly live in lower temperatures then that

if you want something to clean the tank ghost shrimp do well in coldwater and there only 30 cents each
