I want to get a minidvd video camera but I want to know if im gonna need a dvd burner in order to put it on the computer

  1. You'll need a DVD reader, but not a burner.  If you're planning on editing your video don't get a DVD camcorder - they're a very poor choice!


  2. connect the dvd camcorder to your computer via usb 2.0 or preferably fire wire.

    transfer (or import) the files to the hard drive via movie maker (windows) or imovie (mac) and export finished movie to dvd.
