Can you put a window ac unit in a bay window?

I have a bay window in my kitchen, and the window opens like a normal window (up). Can I put a window AC unit in that bay window?

Ask your local store such as Lowes or Home Depot.  Measure the ac and your window opening to see if it is a good fit.

Yes, as long as the window sill (bottom) can support the weight of the AC unit.

i dont see why not, depending on the size and how heavy it is, you have to make sure its secure and sturdy

Yes you can. People don't usually because a bay window is a nice feature to have and they don't want to obstruct the view, but if that's where you want to put it, no problem. You can do it! Hope that helps!
