Is there a specific size and does it have to have a specific RPM and be able to connect a specific way?

  1. It needs to be a 2.5" SATA drive - the type of drive that is used in laptop PCs, rather than desktops.

    It should ideally be a 5400RPM drive, as 7200RPM drives can generate a lot of heat, which may cause problems.


  2. yea u can.up to 250gb.not every hard drive only laptops hard drive i think. just watch this video!

  3. its has to be a 2.5 inch sata 5400 rpm. i think you can use 7200rpm too but it will still only run at 5400.

  4. it can be any hardrive as long as its 2.5" the same used in laptops
