you can buy a flea comb from any almost any drug store or at wal-mart. its very helpful and completely harmless. plus your kitten will love being combed with it.

If the kitten is under 8 weeks old, you should only give it a warm bath in mild soap.

Above 8 weeks, use Advantage once a month.  It's liquid that you apply on the area a little below its skull (see instructions).  I use it on my 2 kittens and notice huge improvement.

Revolution is the best flea control for kittens you need to go the vet and get it cuz you are suppose to use a certain dosage when it comes to kitten too much i think can make them sick.

How old is the kitten? 4 week olds can be treated with Capstar. 8 week olds are fine to be treated with Frontline Plus, Advantage, Promeris, or Revolution.

Kittens are still too yound to have stuff such as front line or flea collars.

Give the kitten a bath in dawn dish washing soap. This will kill the flea but won't harm the kitten.

I've given bathes to kittens as young as 13 days old. It kills the fleas but won't harm the kitten.

Give the kitten a bath in dawn about two times, then wash it down real well with water. While still wet, take a flea comb and brush the remaining fleas off.

no on the powder-they do make flea collars for cats, but not sure about kittens.

flea powder is not good because they l**k themselves and copuld get sick from ingesting the powder..

for cats, only get a product approved for cats, and likewise for kittens.
