Can you put hair straighteners in hand luggage on a plane?

My friends going to greece for 2 months, and needs to know because her suitcase is already over the weight. So she needs to put things in her hand luggage.

  2. Im just back from my holidays and i took my Ghd in my hand luggage to and from Portugal. I didnt have any problems...they did take out my friends hairspray tough! Just dont take any liquids in your hand luggage and you'l be fine! =]

  8. yes, if she is over weight and shows that it is a basic hair straightner, then she will be givin permission to use it as hand luggage
