Can you put home-made videos into your itunes and on your ipod? LIke a vid I took with a digi camera?

Like I took a vid of my band, and I want to put it into my itunes and on my ipod, and i have the Nano 3rd gen, 8 gig, and my buddy said that I can cuz he seen someone do it... and I've tried everything. What am I missing?

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

HEY! yes you can do it and heres how.

1. Drag the file into the LIBRARY not the ipod.

2. Right click the file and select convert selection for ipod/iphone.

NOTE this may take a while depending on the size of the video

3. Once that finishes drag the finall product should be in mp4 mpg4 format to your ipod an make sure you have enough room on your ipod :D hope i helped

Yes, you can put your own videos on your iPod...check your iPod manual to find out how to do...It's kind of complicated to explain it to you here.
