Can you put hot coco or tea in a coffee maker??

i hate coffee but i love coco and tea so i was wondering if i could do it in the coffee maker, if so id like to know measurements and such thanks for the help

  1. You can put loose tea in the part that holds the coffee grounds.  Just be sure you have a filter in there.  I think cocoa would just disintegrate when the water hit it .....  I've made Mulled Cider in a large coffee urn too.  Apple cider, brandy and put whole spices in the part that holds the coffee grounds......


  2. it would ruin the taste of the cocoa or tea, and have a coffee taste

  3. I wouldn't because it picks up the coffee taste.

  4. Here's a trick, make coffee, put the cocoa in the bottom of your mug, then pour the coffee on top of it. That way, you don't muck up your coffee maker, and you get the sweet taste of cocoa (and a nice caffeine buzz). Perfect!

  5. You can brew tea in your coffee maker. For hot coco I'd just use the coffee maker to heat the water.

  6. Dont try it, its probably not worth it.
