Can you put instinct on your own plan?

if you already have a plan with sprint can you just buy the instinct and put it on there

    It is an AWESOME PHONE. I love mine....

    I purchased my Instinct from the website... I got my Instinct for half the price and with NO CONTRACTS and added it to my existing Sprint plan...went into my local Sprint store and they activated it with my phone number. Love it!
