  1. As long as the tile is down flat and tight. All your doing is raising the heights of your floor. So if possible toe stubbing in doorways is not a concern then you can do it..GL

  2. You could but it would be better without them.

  3. syes using an underlay as normal might be better. personally I have both tiles and laminate flooring but would not cover my tiles with it. I would sooner replace the tiles a they  are longer lasting ,harder wearing and easier to clean.

  4. you would need to make sure the floor is level and put underlal underneath

  5. Yes you can.  You can put laminate flooring over many surfaces.  I suggest using DuPont Real Touch.  It's made by DuPont and has a 30 year warranty.  It also has the underpayment attached to each piece, so you don't have to buy that separate and experience the hassle of trying to keep it from wrinkling as you install the flooring.  Now, when you price this flooring out, it will be a little more expensive than the other brands, but keep in mind that it has the underpayment attached to it already and there is no need to buy it as  you would for other brands.  It's easy to work with and has a wonderful finish.  It's very difficult to differentiate DuPont Real Touch from real hardwood floors.  You can purchase this flooring at Home Depot or go to www.homedepot.com and look under laminate flooring for prices and flooring options.  I hope this helps and good luck!

  6. yes.

ensure that you have adequate underlay or the laminate flooring may not lay flat.

basically as long as the tiles are flat & in good condition, there shouldn't be any problems.
