Can you put marzocci dj3's on a dmr drone 24''?

  1. I think you'll throw off the front end geometry a bit, but it won't slacken it all that much.  You'll have to either swap axles on your front hub if you can, or buy a new hub with a 10mm quick release axle (not a good idea to use a solid nutted axle on that fork).  Or you might be able to just buy a new wheel for cheaper than you can rebuild yours.

    If you can swing a little more cash, get the DJ2 instead.  You'll appreciate the 20mm thru axle, trust me.  The Manitou Gold Label is also worth looking at, as is the Rockshox Argyle.  They both cost a little more money, though.  


  2. First guy is absolutely right. I have my bike with a DJ3 and i really hate the smaller axle. I would defineltely look for a DJ2 or DJ1 instead unless you are stripping down an old bike and swapping forks.

    But yes, you can put a 24" on them assuming you will be brakeless or using disc brakes. (i don't even think you could put V-Brakes on and DJs)
