I'm thinking of getting a ipod nano, but I'm just checking if I can work it. I've downloaded itunes and my computer is Windows XP. My friend has the ipod nano but has an apple computer and puts all her music, movies etc from itunes. Just wondering if I can do the same but on Windows XP.

  1. I sync my iPod with my XP computer all the time with no problems whatsoever. As far as I know it works identically.

(My sister has an apple mac and she follows the same procedure to transfer music as I do)

  2. Of course XP windows works, You just need Itunes. So basically any computer works. I use XP windows on one computer and I have vista program on my laptop. Both work great! BUt one thing that you can not do  is if you once plugged your ipod in an apple computer and put music on from there, then you wanna put music on to ipod from XP or VIsta or whatever, must restore your ipod meaning erasing everything. My sisters boyfriend had that problem so I had to erase all his music and it was back to its original settings. Hope I helped

  3. yep, i have an ipod nano and a windows computer, it works fine.

  4. yeah you can use windows it's fine. it just needs itunes to be able to connect which you say you have. i have an ipod and use it with windows.

  5. yes i did my neighbors and nephews it works good luck
