Can you put music for ringtones on razr phone?

I know you can get ringtones but can you put music that you have on your computer on it? I found a usb cord that fits it so I can connect it to my computer. Is there a special program you have to have?

Plug in your usb to phone. Go to my computer and click on your phone. There should be a music folder or something. Open it and put the music you want in that folder.

you can not put the whole songs as ringtones

i am using VENTONES which is a site in which you upload a song and choose 20 sec. of it, and use it as your ringtone. It is free.

the only way to use a song as a ringtone, only use the chorus.
