Can you put neosporin in your nose?

Question

Sounds like a silly question but I am desperate. The weather has been so hot and dry that both nostrils are cracked. Feels like there are boogers but it is just dry, scabby, and cracked. Is is safe to put neosporin or polysporin in your nostrils? Please- no sarcastic retorts. I am serious and it is extremely uncomfortable. Thanks.

Yes you can but Vaseline is much cheaper and just as effective

yeah you can but I agree with the above.  Vaseline would work the same if not better than neosporen.
