Can you put paper mache onto paper?

please help me. i want to make a paper mold i guess you can call it and put paper mache over it and i was wondering if the wetness of the paper mache would ruin the paper mold

Yes you can , just make sure the paper mold is dry first. Then you can put the paper mache over it ;)))
