Can you put radio onto your 5th gen. iPod? If so, can you put AM?

i was looking at my iPod and saw the radio feature, but when i plugged my iPod into my computer it says it cannot be put onto my iPod. I tried dragging it, and it still won't work...any ideas?

You have to buy a FM  tuner to use radio with the iPod.  It is one of the few players out now that doesn't come with it.

if your a hobbyist you can configure a FM board to receive AM bands
