Can you put subwoofers in a car with a bose soundsystem?

i am about to buy 2 kicker cvx12's for my avalanche and i wonder if you can attach that to my car even when it has a bose system. if you cant, then please tell me what i have to do. Thank you so very much!

My friend has Bose in his car and just got 10" Alpine Type Rs installed.  However, he got them installed professionally and said it was a pain in the *** to get them installed, since the bose system is wired differently.  He is powering them with an amplifier (obviously).  It may be different with your car but I think it's possible.  Talk to a pro about it.
