Can you put things on layaway BEFORE black friday then come on black friday and get it at the discount being?

so lets say you have your eyes on a laptop you would like so you put it on layaway on thursday (hypothetically speaking) then come on friday (black friday) and get it at the discount being offered. Or it doesn't work that way. Thanks

If you reserve it on Thursday, you pay Thursday's price no matter when you pay for it.

Wouldn't that be awesome? If it were possible, the store would have a warehouse full of lay-a-way items and that wouldn't be good for business.  I'm sorry to say, no, you won't be getting the bottom out black friday price.  Its a nice thought though... sorry.
