Can you put too much lakeside in a pool? if it's still green can you add every day?ph is good,chlorine is hi?

our pool got green on vacation.it's an intex.cleaning filter 2-3x a day.like i said, ph is good,chlorene is a little high.adding algaecide every day.it's not counterproductive is it? been trying to clean up for 2 weeks now.sweeping 2-3 x a week.shocking 2x a week help.ps I don't have time to run water to be tested.I already know this.thanks!.

No.  It will have the opposite effect if you put too much in.
