"The influence of the "dumbing down" of general education leaves people feeling as if they have no control over their own world, and so they take it out on others.

"I felt vulnerable, as did many people for many reasons. The VietNam war; Nixon; nukes; the killings of JFK, RFK; MLK; the civil rights riots and the little girls killed in the church bombings.
"Condoliza Rice knew one of the girls. They were about the same age.
"My high school teacher allowed the Communist students to bring in to class to talk to us, a man who had bombed an FBI building and had not been caught yet. I hated them. Spineless.
"But we did not kill over it. Now you see killing, and you go kill.
"You see girls fighting to the finish, so you fight with them.
"You will do anything anyone tells you. Because you feel helpless.
"Just stop the killing."
