Have you ever disagreed with something your town or city has proposed to do and persuaded them not to do it?

I live a small town in North Carolina. The board members seem to be intent on growing the town with absolutely no planning for roads or schools, Is there a way that you have successfully fought this?

  1. Yes there is! It is called a recall petition and you make sure you get the registered voters to sign it not just any tom, d**k, or harry. Then you run for your precincts office.

  2. You can begin by actively questioning what they are doing.  Attend council meetings, public hearings, etc.  Write letters to the editor; Start a petition drive; do everything that you can so they know that many people feel this way.
