  1. Yes.

  2. You really shouldn't,

If it has been frozen, then fully thawed, you do not want to re-freeze it unfortunately.

  3. No. once the meat is thawed it should be cooked within 2 days and if it is cooked it should be consumed  by 2 days time.

  4. You cannot healthily refreeze uncooked raw meat.

You can freeze cooked meat in any form & use at your leisure.

  5. Only if you cook it first, then wrap tightly and refreeze, best in a sauce or casserole, but not necessary. True of raw frozen vegetables also.

  6. no you cant refreeze meat unless you cook it first...

  7. Is it physically possible? Yes.

Is it recommended? No.  When you defrost raw meat, bacteria within the meat multiplies rapidly, and when you refreeze this excess quantity of micro-organisms remains 'stuck' inside.

Once you cook the meat, however, the bacteria is killed and thus you can freeze meat once cooked.  However, if you continuously defrost and refreeze food (cooked or uncooked) bacteria can continue to grow and remain within the food - once it's cooked, there are still colonies of bacteria which can grow.

    Hope that helps.

  8. Only if you cooked it..

I tried refreezing chicken once ended up with food poisoning

    so my motto is :

When in Doubt, throw it out!!!!!

  9. You really want to avoid having to re-freeze meat that has been fully thawed if it is raw.  However some meat can withstand this abuse, but I would not like to test my luck with most meats so if you fall into the situation were you have thawed meat try to cook it then when cooled down then feel free to freeze that.

  10. yes you can but you also lose the flavor.
