  1. well typically it is more realistic to have them all in the same person, but if you can make a transition from first to third that is smooth and not confusing to the reader then go for it. I mean i've read some books where they transition point of view and i liked it because you get all the characters thoughts and it's interesting.

  2. Switching point of views in a story is risky business. I've seen it done once before in the Bartimaeus Trilogy, but that was only once. It's usually better to keep one point of view, though, since doing otherwise could confuse the reader. Now I'm going to fill you in on these two styles and let you decide (I usually go for 3rd person, though, since I think it rocks hard core).

Okay, third person is good since it gives the writer more freedom. They can have their story told from multiple points of view with ease.

First person is good since it's a more personal, sometimes realistic way of writing.

So, which will you chose? (I support 3rd person though, because like I said. It rocks hard core).

  3. i think it is better if all the chapters are from the same viewpoint, so as not to be confusing. I prefer using the first person because it makes the story more intimate with the character's thoughts and emotions. third person is useful to show how all characters are feeling but it depends on what kind of angle you want the reader to see the story.

its really up to how you want the story to feel

  4. first of all that is a REALLY good story... anyway i think it would be best in first person(in Kane's point of view). using first person gives the story more depth... because in first person people are more likely to feel like they can connect/relate to the characters. the other thing is is that you should stay in one point of view for the entire story because it can get a little confusing if you keep switching viewpoints...

  5. Surprisingly, i do think it sounds better in first-person. Normally i don't like reading books in that point of view but it sounds better. I only read a little of the prologue and a little of the first chapter, but i got a taste of both, enough to find out which i liked better. I really like your writing style, too.
