Can you realize african dwarf frogs into a freshwater pond?

  2. No, never release pets - you could be fined. Contact the vet, PETA, local environmental agency and ask. If you give them the whole tank or terrarium, a school could get them as a mascot.

  3. You should never release a foreign animal into an ecosystem where it doesn't belong.  No one ever knows what the consequences will be.  If you no longer want your frog, you could advertise to sell it.

    They are supposed to be kept in water not more than 2 - 3 ft deep or they may drown, because they are not good swimmers.  Also, they are subtropical and can't take cold temperatures.  They are supposed to be kept in a tank at 70 -75 degrees F.

    You should never get a living creature if you are not willing to care for it for its natural lifetime.  Please be responsible and find it a new home.  Maybe the pet shop would take it back.
