Can you really add an upper cut in a side way motion combo?

Like when your punching hooks after hooks then you suddenly added an upper cut on your combo... is it really doable?

Watch film on Sugar Ray Robinson it was one of his favourite combos. It,s not a typical combo but if you could perfect it you could do a lot of damage with it I have never used that combo but I have seen a couple of guys use it Prince Naseem Hameed Jorge Piaze Emmanual Agustis Aaron Pryor just to name a few

yes.

This used to be a common combo we'd practice in the gym at the club I boxed at.

Same hand:

jab, jab, hook

Jab, jab, Hook,Hook, Uppercut

Really hard to get used to but can be very effective in a match if youre quick enough.
