Can you really be injured or even die when you astral project?

I've been reading up on this coz it sounds interesting. Problem is I've come across sites saying "This is very dangerous, do not do this" blah blah and then I come across sites that say "Astral travelling is safe, you cannot die".

Personally I think that there is a very rare chance that you will die, but since we apparently astral project every night why is it suddenly so dangerous and there's a chance you can die when we are aware that it's happening? I don't get it.

What do you believe? Have you done this?

Astral projection is NOT dreaming. You people are all hung over Lucid Dreaming. YEAH. CONTROLLING YOUR DANG DREAM IS LUCID DREAMING. Not leaving your body! There's a big difference! >:|

Though it is not possible to die in the Astral Realm, you could be attacked. Astral Projection IS and IS NOT safe. Let's go over safety stuff.

If you're attacked by an evil creature, pay it no mind! If it has a hold of you, project Love at it! QUICKLY. Don't let fear or any negative feelings strike, or else they will feed on it and thrive! They hate anything bright and happpy.

BUT. You won't have to deal with the demonic c**p if you speak to your guardian angels, or guide, and ask them to protect you during Astral Travel. You can even ask God.
