  1. Yes, you can.

This is the way I used to do it at school

Open a tap so that the water flows down from it in a narrow stream.

Get a large ebonite rod and charge it by rubbing it against

    some fur.

Hold the ebonite rod about 1 cm away from the water. - the water stream will deflect so much that it will be perfectly obvious!.

If you have no ebonite and fur, it's a matter of finding the right combination of  materials to rub together.

Rubbing a balloon against your hair may cause the balloon to deflect water. (it can also cause the balloon to stick to the ceiling - a girls' long hair is the best for this)

The weather is fairly important in static electricity experiments - humid  or wet weather is not much good, and dry, cold, weather is the best when the air is at its driest.

Before you rub the materials together, the drier they are the better. Warm them up first to dry them out.

  2. yea you just take a ballon and rub it againts wool, turn on your faucet, then put the ballon next to it. thats it

  3. aw this question is too clever for me, i was always rubbish at physics at school
