Can you really freeze milk?

Is it really safe to freeze a gallon of milk? And what is the best way to unthaw it?

  1. You know, I just recently saw this. This person put it in small air-tight containers and froze it. She said it worked just fine. To thaw, just put it in your fridge.

  5. I knew an man who would go to the grocery store and buy 3 or 4 gallons of milk the day or so before it expired for a deeply discounted price and freeze it to drink later. He would just let it thaw in the refrigerator. Before he retired he worked for the USDA and he says it is perfectly safe.

    We just turned the fridge down!

  8. well sure!! you can freeze milk!! to unthaw it just leave it out for a few hours or put it into your refrigerator!
