Yes you can.  It doesn't matter if more energy is needed to produce the hydrogen than the amount you get out of it.  The type of energy is what counts.  There is unlimited energy in solar power and the movement of water (ocean current and wave power).  One Canadian company is building a demo ocean current plant off the coast of Oregon.  There are 2 river current turbine producing electricity in New York City's East River.  Since transportation energy (gasoline, hydrogen etc to power cars) is more valuable than unlimited stationary energy, it doesn't matter if it takes 1.5 units of stationary energy to make 1 unit of energy that can be used to move a car.

    Due to hiperventilation of its h7Y it will problably golandirize!

    the problem is humans still dont have a YU generator its probabel that it will appear in a couple of dozens of years!

    beware water in hiperbolution is lethal thats why we still didnt try it yet.
