Can you really get a $1,000 ticket for ASHING a cig out your window?

i thought you just can't throw the but out! a washington st patroler said today he could give a fine for a grand just for ashing...I don't believe him. Any ideas or proof??

Hey, it's all wrong but I've never heard of a ticket for even throwing the cigarette.

I don't know, but some guy did that, and he hit me in the arm, good thing it wasn't the bad side.

I'd ask him to show me the evidence (ash) that he intends to present in court!
