  1. Maybe.  It's called air couriering, and real-life super-cheap possibilities were very rare before 9-11.  In the post 9-11 world, it's all but evaporated.

    With as much flexibility as couriering would require, you'd do well to just look for the cheapest ticket to anywhere Europe (since you mentioned Eurotrip) from the few busiest international airports on your continent (since that's all couriering used to offer).  You can do this easily with http://www.farecompare.com  Here, I have set it for NYC to all Europe for the upcoming year.  Kiev is cheapest currently.  Fares in summer are highest; fares in winter, except around Christmas, are cheapest.  You can also sign up for alerts on routes to your email while you're on Farecompare.  And, when you click to check availability on actual days, you can even choose to compare it against several other sources--and a few consolidators--to see if a better offer exists.
