Can you really learn great dance technique from a DVD?

Can you really learn to be a good jazz dancer by watching instructional dvd's?

You might learn some stuff from the DVD's but in most chances it wont be very good on teaching your technique because it cant correct you if your doing something wrong.

probably not you need someone to tell you what you need to do to fix it if your doing something wrong

Probably not.  Although using DVD's might be good to supplement what you learn in a live class.

You need to go to a dance class where a teacher can
