Can you really pass a lie detector test?

You don't pass or fail a lie detector test you can only cop out on yourself under the pressure of thinking the test can tell whether or not you're lying.  The machine can't tell, but if you think it can it will play games with your head until you break down and spill your guts like a lil' poot butt.

If you are telling the truth, yes.

Also people can actually convince themself they are telling the truth, which allows them to show up on the lie detector test as telling the truth, even when they've lied. Its very rare that people actually convince themself they are telling the truth though.

People can also be non-respondant, where they don't show major differences in answers, so it cannot be determined whether they are telling the truth or not.
